ICOM Ukraine Announces Participation in the PRISM Project to Fight Illegal Trafficking of Cultural Goods

ICOM Ukraine is proud to announce its participation in the PRISM project—Prevention, Research, Investigation, and Security in Museums—implemented over three years by the Heritage Protection Department of the International Council of Museums (ICOM) in Paris. This initiative includes ICOM Estonia, ICOM Hungary, ICOM Latvia, ICOM Lithuania, ICOM Slovakia, and the National History Museum of Romania.

Work on the extraordinary Red List of Endangered Cultural Heritage of Ukraine has been completed

Onto the next step for the amendment of the EU Regulation banning N2 across the Union

The results of the consultation regarding the use of nitrogen for the protection of cultural heritage push ICOM and ICOMOS efforts onto the next step.Since March 2019, ICOM and ICOMOS have been demanding the repeal of the EU Regulation No. 528/2012 banning the use of in-situ generated nitrogen (N2).
